Waterproof flooring can be made in a few different ways. There are also some flooring products that claim to be waterproof, but only have a waterproof top layer or exterior. If these are exposed to water from beneath or the plank is cut (as it is right next to every wall in the room) then these floors lose their resistance to moisture. Our waterproof flooring is 100% waterproof from top to bottom. If the plank is cut into twenty pieces and submerged in water, it will be no more vulnerable than it was when it came off the manufacturing line. Our waterproof floors have also been constructed with a very hard core material, which gives them tremendous structural stability and makes them more impact/dent resistant than many other manufactured options.

On which level is the floor?
With our Waterproof Rigid-Core flooring, it doesn’t matter whether or not your floor is above or below grade. Some floors may not be suitable for certain areas of your home. That’s where the Summit Collection sets itself apart. Unlike traditional hardwood floors, the Summit Collection can be placed in any room and on any level. As versatile as it is beautiful, the Summit Collection may well be the flooring answer you are looking for.
How much do you need?
When it comes time to buy, knowledge is power. No matter where you buy, how you install or who you deal with, having reliable information can only serve to benefit you in the long run. Knowing how much you need could save you wasted materials, additional deliveries, shipping and restocking time, and ultimately money when it comes down to it.

What exactly is Waterproof Rigid Core?
Our new Waterproof Rigid Core flooring has a similar wear layer to luxury vinyl tile (LVT) and luxury vinyl plank (LVP) products that are currently on the market. That, however, is where the similarities end. Capitalizing on the extremely durable top layer that is already very widely used throughout the industry, we’ve improved everything underneath to create a truly unique and superior new product. We’ve engineered an extremely dense material to use as a structural layer, which is far superior to other products on the market in terms of impact and dent resistance. As a base layer, we’ve created an anti-microbial, non-slip surface that is designed to keep the planks from sliding and act as a sound-dampening layer while giving bacteria and fungus no place to take hold. From top to bottom, our new Waterproof Rigid Core exceeds the limits of every other competitive product on the market. We are very excited to introduce this game-changing new technology.
